Midgets chirping
If you have not yet met Ken Aden, I hope you will. In this climate, it's hard not to have an instantly cynical reaction to the very word 'politician'. Ken Aden is the antidote to that. I know, I know ... you're thinking, "Prove it." Okay, I'll post some links in comments ... you decide!

- Sylvia Pesek Dori, that was back in January, and the case was turned over to the FBI, I believe. Nothing has been resolved on the case, last I heard. This was not in Little Rock, it was in Russellville.

- Dori Braithwaite I know. But the lack of response, the lack of interest demonstrated by officers is pathetic.
- When a terrorist act has been committed, why don't they care?
- Because it's not about anti-terrorism. It's about controlling American voters!
- Stopping terrorism, real terrorism, isn't relevant!

- Clayton Osbourn Ken aden's- position on gun control is taken from his website. You can reference that for yourself.

- In your case, Clayton, I've seen no evidence that you cared to go for dialogue, but rather that you use this (and undoubtedly other) pages as nothing more than billboards for prepared statements from whatever reactionary talking-points source you use. Certainly there is nothing on Ken Aden's website to support your assertion that, "Aden is in lock step with New York Mayor bloomberg (sic) regarding radical gun control initiatives", nor is there any reference in it to "high capacity magazine fed semi-auto rifle(s)". Since it appears you did not actually read his statement on his position, I'm providing it for you here:
- "Ken is a strong supporter of our 2nd Amendment right to keep and bear arms. Ken believes that responsible gun ownership is a right we must cherish and strive to protect. A former Army Staff Sergeant with combat experience, Ken supports the right of Northwest Arkansas residents to keep and bear arms for self-protection, hunting, sport shooting and other responsible activities but also knows first-hand that some reasonable regulations on the sale of firearms make good sense for everyone.
- On Christmas Eve, in 1994 Ken’s father was shot and killed and became one of the thousands of Americans who fall victim to gun violence every year. Ken will fight to make sure that guns stay out of the hands of career criminals and others prohibited from firearm possession under the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act. He will also fight to make sure that dangerous assault rifles and ammunition with no practical purpose in hunting, self-protection, or sport shooting–such as “cop-killer bullets”–stay off our streets."
- Oh, and your propensity to revert to diversionary items that have nothing whatsoever to do with the topic at hand reminds me of nothing so much as Reagan's proposed 'brilliant pebbles' initiative, designed to deploy as decoys to destroy armaments. I referred to it earlier as an attempt on your part to "stock the pond with red herrings". It's also known as trolling, and it's not appreciated. It is also decidedly NOT in the category of being a "good epistemic agent", though it does fall into the "demagogue" category. Your last sentence simply made no sense ... 'beliefs held as a matter of aesthetics and contingency' ... really? Do you even know what that means? I can only wonder where you got that ... it has a decidedly Hegelian cant to it, and the spelling is either an attempt to impress or it's lifted from another source ... it's certainly not Arkansan ...
- Shape up or ship out, Bucko ... while I am open to honest discussion, this is not a billboard for trolls.

- Clayton Osbourn It's funny you throw around this word reactionary.
- "He will also fight to make sure that dangerous assault rifles and ammunition with no practical purpose in hunting, self-protection, or sport shooting–such as “cop-killer bullets”–stay off our streets."
- So there it is. The 2nd amendment isn't about hunting. He fundamentally misreads it. Cop Killer bullets is a notorious anti-gun canard. Any rifle cartridge over a specific density and joule will cut through kevlar. Dangerous assault rifles? What is an assault rifle has been shown to be arbitrary and inconsistent. Why not remove dangerous cigarettes and fried food, as the latter are statistically much more lethal to the American polity?
- As for diversionary tactics, I find it laughable that so called animal-lovers decry a cat but then sit down to eat chickens, pigs, cows, etc. that have been brutalized with nary a thought. You aren't really motivated out of a concern for animals, otherwise you would practice it through non-violence.
- Your page is a billboard for soft, weak people who would rather drink their own bilge than admit the world has moved on. All your grandstanding amounts to, and it's very easy to see, is the vapid histrionics of persons who failed at life and now express unremitting bitterness that they never really had what it takes to accomplish goals. So instead they just bitch to their meanspirited, bitter, ignorant "friends."
- Ed Gray is a depleted turd sitting around Vinos nursing his own failed aesthetic. I'll be sure to spit in his eye when I see him there.
- Shape up or ship out? Well ship me out then. Im satisfied your world view will never prevail because you and your kind are intellectually lazy do-nothing-but-bitch little bigots, and you have not nor will ever accomplish anything but informing the world what fools you are and what an impoverished philosophy so-called "liberalism" is. Enjoy your NWO concentration camps, the guards will be happy you voted to be placed there for your own protection.
- I weep for the cats of the world. Once politicians learn that old, fat blue hairs will vote for them en masse on sympathy grounds you'll have every politician chopping them up and weeping crocodile tears over the egregious "terrorist" "murder" of cats...
- Clayton Osbourn And I'm posting this convo as a note so people will read it in perpetuity. And I'm blogging it so everyone knows what midgets chirping sounds like...
