More U.S. Citizens are arming themselves and creating both a nationwide ammunition shortage and a marked downturn in violent crime. They are waking up to the fact that government agents have no legal responsibility to protect private Citizens. They sense that the supercharged-militarized domestic police force has not been put in place for their benefit -- to say the least. They are wary of a growing potential for economic chaos and eroded civil rights. They know that there are already reasonable gun control laws in place.

The battles are reduced to skirmishes. Obama, Biden, Holder, Bloomberg, Emanuel, Feinstain, Mayors Against Guns and the rest of the elitist antigunners lost. All that remains for them is to fume, lick their wounds and pretend it turned out different for them."

Nothing Reasonable...

Where I take umbrage is your assertion that you are seeking “effective, reasonable restrictions on gun ownership.” I have not heard any proposals which are A. “effective” and B. “reasonable.” In fact, whenever I hear the word “reasonable” from an anti-gunner I know that to be merely code for bans, confiscation, and civilian disarmament. If the corrupt gears of our kleptocracy do not institute the Draconian police state disarmament schemes you dream up, then you appeal to the masses and laud “Democracy” and “The will of the majority.” And when the fickle masses fail to mobilize, you blame the “special interests” and the NRA.

You are not a moderate and there is nothing "reasonable" about your position on firearms.

As for Pryor, he is an empty suit attached to the kleptocratic apparatus.

The only way liberalism will work is if the whole industrial base and technical scientific progress of the species is abandoned, and all humanity return to a primitive state. 3D printing may render the gun control debate moot. And cheap, ubiquitous monitoring of domestic life will move great masses of female citizens through the meat-grinder of family law whereas previously only men were subject to this apparatus. Liberals want a totalitarian world of absolute control, the destruction of the male gender, and the collectivization of all means of production concentrated in the hands of an elite for whom the laws do not apply.

With his new audience (you), he will play this out for a very long time, pushing more buttons when people get bored. The Feds should have just ignored him, but I guess there was already too much news. This guy isn't like the NZ guy that built his own cruise missile (and got shut down via some unrelated tax issue).
