Middle Class is falling from airplane...

B. Acre Centralization • a month ago Housing, healthcare and education are cornerstones of a middle class existence. To that I would add retirement security. All of those are increasingly out of reach, and have been getting worse since Reagan, at least. If your children can't afford to move out, can't afford to get educated (or can't keep the gains of education because all their increased earning potential is perpetually extracted by student lenders), can't pay for their healthcare and can't save for retirement, then you are not really middle class. You're middle class in the way that someone falling from an airplane without a parachute is "still in the air."
