Alt-Right: Are Racists Mentally Ill? Some Psychiatrists Say Yes

Socialist Democrats, their surrogate organizations, and complicit ,media continue to try and make it appear that ALL whites and Trump supporters are racists along with anyone else who isn't black. Truth is there are racist among every race towards people of any other race. A great deal of violence directed towards others has been done by persons of racist persuasion. Opportunistic politicians play upon the marketing of a racist narrative for their own benefit despite the cost and division to America.

To even insinuate such ridiculous idea is completely cold and irresponsible. I am a psychologist, what we're seeing here is what MSM and the democrats have done to the country. To even suggest that millions of people are mentally ill is so irresponsible. MSM is the enemy people, we need to expose them for what they did to the country. My heart is broken, and these kinds of articles drives a stake into it further. Thanks a lot MSM, I hope you all rot in hell

Middle Class is falling from airplane...

B. Acre Centralization • a month ago Housing, healthcare and education are cornerstones of a middle class existence. To that I would add retirement security. All of those are increasingly out of reach, and have been getting worse since Reagan, at least. If your children can't afford to move out, can't afford to get educated (or can't keep the gains of education because all their increased earning potential is perpetually extracted by student lenders), can't pay for their healthcare and can't save for retirement, then you are not really middle class. You're middle class in the way that someone falling from an airplane without a parachute is "still in the air."

Rent Seeking bx crowding out trad production

Rent-seeking behavior is crowding out classical economic productivity. Ask yourself this: do you know anyone who produces goods or services that are not subsidized or derived from government spending/entitlements? Is your highest ambition to escape global labor arbitrage by sheltering in a government mandated make-work program that pays in excess of actual market demands? If government underwrites universal survival absent requirements to produce tangible economic value then the value of merely surviving drops to zero. The insidious growth of this strategy of rent-seeking and flight from real economic productivity is resulting in a decline in population fitness both intellectual and physical. It may be that rent seeking strategies are pursued for lack of better alternatives despite being sub-optimal in their own right. In such cases (and Arkansas is probably one of them) macro economic policy (Keynesian), misallocation of resources, and crony capitalism bear the responsibility for biopolitical failure.

Jobs are dead

NYBamBam 2 days ago

Our government has absolutely murdered our labor markets. The labor force participation rate contracted steadily throughout the Obama administration. At this point, there are not enough jobs to go around. Wages are stagnant. Labor conditions have deteriorated. Upward economic mobility is dead, dead, dead. Forget about full-time, benefited jobs. There's a war on all fronts against living wage work.

Nepotism, cronyism, corruption and insider networks control opportunity. We've lost 40 years of labor force participation when the needs of society - and the lousy wages - demand our labor force participation rate grow dramatically, not shrink historically.

Democrats ignored these conditions and won the fewest elected officials in 90 years. 96 million eligible voters didn't vote in 2016, 41% of the electorate. 95 million working age Americans didn't work that year either. Hmmmmm.....

Any politician who ignores these conditions or makes them worse will meet the same fate. The public has no patience left with its politicians on this topic. They should have dealt with 8 years ago. America needs millions of living wage jobs, student debt relief, affordable housing and massive reinvestment in local economies. Preferably from the ground up.

Hating on Haidt...

Old OddJobs4 months ago
Oh good, here comes Haidt the "moderate" leftist now LARPing as a "centrist" to pathologize those who regard being replaced in their own countries by Muslims and Africans as an catastrophic injustice. He's the ultimate managerial android - the exercise of POWER never factored in to his condescension.

Sweden and Multicult creating new third worlds...

Freyjä Moøn3 months ago (edited)
He completely left out the fact that other cultures refusing to assimilate actually does create real threats to the host society and a break down of its values.
For instance, what is happening in Sweden this very moment, they are committing cultural suicide and their country is going to be a third world nation by 2030.
It's not just a racist reaction to brown people, which is how he makes it sound, it's a rational reaction to the recognition of the destabilization of your country and what holds it together and provides that nice progressive and prosperous way of life.

As he said in the beginning, cultures in parts of Africa and the Middle East do not share the same values as us. Flooding them in en masse with zero expectation of integration is just asking for a whole slew of problems, you are importing those anti-thetical values into your country.
Not only this, but we see in America the issue of creating mini nations within our nation. Entire communities exist separate from the majority and they often seclude themselves and cling to their cultural identity which in turn causes them to become angry and resent the host population and this causes a lot of issues as well.

And don't even get me started on identity politics.

I think he's missing the idea of multi-culturalism and the genuine ways that it can dismantle a nation and just writing off the justified fear of that as racism, which only solidifies the delusions of the left who will continue to scream racism when that isn't the issue.

People generally don't care if they have a multi-ethnic population, as long as the values are shared and the way of life is upheld. When that begins to be threatened the way it is right now, people develop issues with it.

Under Obama we just went full speed ahead with these leftist policies with no balance or consideration at all for the other half of the country and that has caused this absolute mess we are seeing now.

We need to encourage balance again, the left and the right need to find a way to coexist and work together in spite of differences if we expect to avoid falling apart.

And I am a leftist too by the way, but I have a conservative family so I am rather familiar with their arguments and I get where they are coming from and its certainly not from racism. They are sick of having their values and way of life demonized and attacked, Obama did this to the middle class throughout his entire presidency and now race relations are awful.
